The screen slides hard even though it is not falling out. What is wrong?
Either the rollers have seized or the track is packed with debris. In Cordova the track collects a surprising amount of grit, and it acts like grinding paste on the rollers.
What mesh should I use if I have dogs?
Pet-resistant mesh, which is a heavier vinyl-coated polyester, and often a pet grille across the lower section. Standard fiberglass will not survive a dog that pushes against it.
My screen mesh has gone brittle and crumbles. What happened?
