Why does my sliding door work fine in winter and stick in summer?
That is a moisture and expansion problem, and it is common across Etowah County. Humid months swell wood and vinyl components and expand the frame slightly, which is enough to close up clearance that was already marginal because of worn rollers.
What does it mean when there is water pooling in the track?
The weep holes that drain the sill are blocked. It is one of the most common causes of water on the floor inside, and it is also one of the easiest things to fix, but if it sits long enough it rusts the roller assemblies out.
